Cobra Array i314f

The Cobra i314f is a high-capacity storage array designed for deep data archiving. Reliability, scalability and availability are the key features provided by this high-density storage device.

The Cobra i314f is an FC-AL to Ultra DMA RAID controllers to delivery fault tolerant data protection with via multiple RAID options; RAID levels support include 0, 1, 0+1, 3 and 5.

The i314f is equipped with advanced environmental monitoring. This monitors enclosure and individual disk temperature as well as the hot-swap power supply subsystem. The high-performance cooling subsystem is constantly monitored as well and any irregularities are reported to the administrator via an audible alarm, fax and pager.

Array configuration and management can be accomplished via the LCD command module located on the front panel. Further configuration and monitoring support is provided by the Java based GUI.

Broad distribution support with the option for either Red Hat Linux, Debian GNU/Linux or SuSE Linux at the core. The 2.4 Kernel series can support up to 16 processors and 64GB of RAM with added support for a multitude of PCI expansion cards.
